The picture has a mystical and mysterious mood thanks to the nearby, hidden by twilight, sprawling forests. They seem to step on the viewer closely, ready to engulf him with their dark, cold foliage. The spherical bushes had already gotten too close to the ferry and began to slowly descend down to the river. The bridge looks very symbolic, it divides the canvas into two parts in the center in the vertical direction and attracts attention. It is not immediately noticeable, but on both sides of the wooden ford the picture is very different. At the bottom left, you can observe choppy waters dotted with a mass of small waves. Immediately to the left, closer to the viewer, there is a dark wooden road that breaks off at the pool. On the right is a completely different picture. The water is smooth and smooth as a stretched drum, the gaze glides over the fertile land overgrown with juicy grass, which ends at the bridge. It would seem that only three logs separate these two parts, but the nature of nature is changing dramatically.
