Plotter cutting of films
Plotter cutting is a technology for cutting vector images from self-adhesive films. Cutting is performed on a cutting plotter, which allows you to cut through only the film, leaving the substrate intact. The plotter allows you to cut images of almost any complexity. After cutting, the image is sampled - removing excess film elements from the substrate. As a result, only the necessary elements of the drawing remain on the substrate. To transfer the image from the substrate to the surface (plates, showcases, stands, walls, etc.), use an assembly film (technology). Thanks to its light adhesive layer, it allows you to peel off the vinyl film from the substrate and transfer it to the pasted surface. After gluing to the carrier and smoothing, the mounting film is removed, and a sticker cut out of the film remains on the surface.Materials and technologies for plotter cutting
In the Pencil printing center, you can order plotter cutting of both self-adhesive films with printing and films for applications (Oracal series 641, 5300, 6510, 8510, etc.). There is always a wide range of films from leading manufacturers that can be glued to glass, acrylic, car body, aluminum, painted steel, etc. other smooth flat surfaces. The maximum width of the plotter cutting is 1195 mm. At the same time, the technology of image formation by the application method involves the production of pictures and inscriptions of almost any size.
