Foiling is a way of creating elegant postcards, business cards, invitations and other printing using foil. The foil is tightly bonded to the paper in places where there is a printout on the paper, closing it. The result is a product with a "seal" foil. Unlike embossing, foiling does not require the preparation of cliches, so it is perfectly suitable for urgent execution, including small individual orders.

Paper foiling technology
The foiling technology has several stages:

Preparation of the layout (without background, fills, thin complex elements; minimum line thickness of 2mm, letter height of 8 points; only one-sided application; maximum area - 190×287mm).

Printout of the layout on a black-and-white laser printer.

The passage of the printout together with the foil through the hot shafts of the laminator. The foil is securely fastened to the paper in the places where the printer toner was on the printout.

Foiling materials
For foiling, we use high-quality foil made in the USA. Thanks to the stable adhesive layer, it is perfectly sintered with toner and does not peel off.
The following foil colors are always available:

golden
silver
bronze
red
blue
green
holographic

Materials that are recommended for foiling:

semi-matte premium paper 90-350 g/sq.m - for the manufacture of exquisite invitations, postcards, business cards
coated (glossy) premium paper 115-350 g /sq. m - for the manufacture of exquisite invitations, postcards, business cards on paper with a glossy sheen
tracing paper 90 g/sq.m - used as an elegant insert in postcards, invitations

Due to the peculiarities of the technology, there are materials that are not suitable for foiling:

textured (textured) paper
dark materials (majestic, touch cover, etc.)
self-adhesive transparent film
