Scanning of A4 and A3 formats is performed in Pavilions No. 1, No. 4, No. 7. Large-format scanning is performed in pavilions No. 3 and No. 7.

For large format scanning:

The maximum thickness of the material for large-format scanning is 15 mm, the width is 914 mm.
Originals for scanning that may damage the scanner are not accepted.
There are envelopes for dilapidated originals in A2-A0 formats. The margin for the application is 3,60 rub.
Saving to different files, converting formats, renaming, as well as other operator work are not included in the cost of scanning.
The minimum cost of an order for any scan using a large-format scanner is 3,60 rubles.
If the length of the original is > 1200 mm, the cost is calculated based on the number of linear meters of scanning. The cost of scanning images of non-standard size is equal to the cost of scanning standard (A2, A1, A0) formats in which this image of a non-standard format can be entered.

Scanning a document, drawing, text, photo is the translation of an invention made on a physical medium into an electronic form. Scanning allows you to make a digital copy of a document, drawing, map, photo and store it almost indefinitely (the storage period is determined by the service life of the digital media). The resulting scan can be edited, inserted into other images, shared on the Internet, printed on a printer. Scanning of A4, A3 formats is performed in Pavilions No. 1, No. 4, No. 7. Large-format scanning (formats larger than A3) - in pavilions No. 3 and No. 7.

Scanning with recognition
In the Pencil printing center, you can scan documents, books with text recognition. Such a file is easy to edit, it has a much smaller size than in the form of an image, it is convenient to store, it is faster to send by e-mail and upload to the Internet. It should be noted that currently it is not possible to recognize handwritten text and drawings, and the recognized text in the document requires additional verification.

Scanning photos, slides, films
Old photos, slides, photos taken using simplified technologies can significantly degrade their quality over time: burn out in the light, change color, and also crumple, or tear. Electronic copies after scanning photos allow you to store them almost forever. We use two types of scanners to scan documents and images up to A3 in size:

Manual scanners - for scanning materials that involve manual submission: books, photographs, single-page documents. The flatbed scanners used are characterized by high scanning quality - up to 2400 dpi. The maximum scan format is up to A4.
Automatic - large printing complexes with the function of automatic scanning, which is possible only for smooth embroidered documents (individual sheets) of standard formats. One-way or two-way automatic scanning is performed. The scanning speed can reach 50 color and 80 black and white sheets per minute. Large size, excellent document scan quality
Large-format scanning is performed using a rolling scanner, so we scan both A2, A1, A0 and other formats: the maximum length of the scanned materials (if they can be rolled up) is practically unlimited. The service is used to scan drawings, maps, large photos, pictures, and other large format images. The main characteristics of large-format scanning:

Maximum width: 914 mm
Maximum thickness: 12 mm
Resolution: 300 - 800 dpi

If your paper drawing (or other picture that can be folded) is wider than 914 mm, we can scan it in 2 stages and then connect the parts in a graphic editor. Special transparent envelopes are available for scanning dilapidated originals or non-standard materials.
